Cardinal Lubomyr Husar, Major Archbishop of the Ukrainian Catholic Church, has resigned for health reasons. The Pope accepted his resignation and temporarily handed the leadership of the largest eastern church in communion with Rome to the current Archbishop of Leopoli, Monsignor Ihor Vozniak.
