Carassauga - is the annual festival of cultures, this year held May 24, 25 & 26th. It’s like a trip around the world in one weekend.  In past years our Ukraine Pavilion has won many awards including awards for best entertainment, food, ambience and last year took 2nd place for overall quality. Our Ukraine pavilion annually attracts thousands of people from all over the GTA!
$10 ADVANCE PASSPORTS ARE AVAILABLE FROM OUR PARISH OFFICE DURING OFFICE HOURS. You could win an Air Canada Vacation!
This year we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of our Ukraine pavilion! We plan to have an exhibit of traditional Ukrainian musical instruments. If you have access to a traditional or historical Ukrainian instrument such as a: sopilka, volynka, torban, cymbaly or similar, and are able to loan it to us for the display, please contact our parish office at 905-279-9387 or Dorota Czupiel at 647-969-7837.
We also need volunteers. We need help in the kitchen, admissions, security for our exhibits, entrances and parking, hall decor and set-up, servers and table cleaning.  This is an excellent opportunity for students to earn community volunteer hours. Please call our parish office.
We particularly need the help of men and women to serve food to our guests! Please contact our parish office at 905-279-9387 or Dorota Czupiel at 647-969-7837.
Ukrainian Treasures at Carassauga! Our pavilion committee is organizing a table of “Ukrainian Treasures” and we are asking our parishioners for donations. Finally find a home for all those extra Ukrainian nick-naks. We are looking for carved, woven and other hand made items that typically depict Ukrainian culture. Bring your donations to our parish office.
